A foreigner who offered a bribe to an inspector was detained in Surkhandarya

In the Surkhandarya region, an Indian citizen was detained for offering a bribe of 10 million soums to a traffic patrol inspector. This was reported by the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the information, an employee of the service stopped a foreign citizen driving a car with a technical malfunction and wanted to check the documents of the vehicle. At that moment, the citizen offered to give the inspector 10 million soums.
During operational measures, he was caught red-handed while attempting to hand over the money. A criminal case was initiated under part 1 of Article 211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code, and the car was placed in a penalty area.
