In Tashkent, a retaining wall of a multi-story building was illegally demolished

In a multi-story building located in the city of Tashkent, a violation of safety requirements was discovered. This was reported by the Tashkent City Territorial Inspection for Control in the Field of Construction and Housing and Communal Services.

Reportedly, based on citizens' appeals, the inspection officers conducted a study in a multi-story residential building located in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district.

During the inspection, it was revealed that the apartment owner had demolished the main retaining wall of the building and opened a new door in its place.

Experts note that unauthorized interference with the main structural wall can have a serious negative impact on the seismic stability of the building. This poses a threat to the safety of not just one apartment, but the entire building.

An administrative report was drawn up in accordance with part 3 of Article 159 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility. Also, the owner was given a mandatory written instruction to restore the demolished wall to its original state within 15 days.
