In Gallaorol, an official was caught taking a bribe while selling his son's land

In the Gallaorol district of the Jizzakh region, the chief specialist of the khokimiyat's agriculture department was exposed for illegally demanding money in the process of selling land belonging to his son. This was reported by the State Security Service.

It turned out that the person, who worked as a chief specialist in the agricultural department of the district khokimiyat, reached an agreement on the sale of 11 hectares of the farm belonging to his son to the buyer for 11 thousand US dollars. He received 5,000 US dollars in advance as part of this agreement.

After that, he promised to provide the remaining 6,000 US dollars and documents related to the land plot through his acquaintances in the khokimiyat and cadastral offices, and demanded an additional 700 US dollars.

As a result, he was caught red-handed by officers of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes and the State Security Service while receiving a total of 6,700 US dollars.

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against this person on charges of fraud, as well as bribery, and an investigation is underway.
