A quarrel between brothers in the Samarkand region ended tragically. This was announced by the press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office, Hayot Shamsutdinov.
It was reported that on February 12 of this year, at approximately 11:30 a.m., A.S. had a dispute with his brother U.S. over the issue of drawing water from the irrigation ditch at a farm located in the Khojakarzon neighborhood of Narpay district.
During the altercation, he fired a single shot at his brother with his hunting rifle, resulting in U.S. being killed at the scene.
According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic medical examination, severe injuries from hunting weapons were found on the body of the deceased, and the cause of death was external bleeding.
It is reported that on February 12, the Narpay District Prosecutor's Office initiated a criminal case against A.S. under part 1 of Article 97 of the Criminal Code (premeditated murder), and he was detained in accordance with the law.
