A tragic incident occurred in the city of Angren, Tashkent region. An eight-year-old child was attacked by stray dogs and died from the injuries sustained. It is reported that the deceased lived in a rented house in one of the city's mahallas with his mother. The tragedy occurred while the child was returning home from school.
Local residents state that the problem of stray dogs in the area has persisted for a long time. Animals frequently attacked adults and children, posing a danger. The child's mother, after he did not return on time, went looking for him and found him on the street with severe injuries. Unfortunately, the child passed away before the doctors arrived.
The chairman of the "Istiqlol" mahalla citizens' assembly in Angren confirmed that the family was living in the area temporarily. According to him, the situation is under the control of the city administration and responsible organizations. Necessary measures are being taken to prevent such tragic incidents in the future.
Representatives of the Tashkent Regional Internal Affairs Department stated that an official statement regarding the incident will be released soon. Pre-investigation checks are currently underway.
