A serious traffic accident in the Angren city area of Tashkent region claimed the lives of two people. The tragedy occurred on April 26 this year at the 93rd kilometer of the A-373 highway.
According to initial information, the driver of a NOWO-brand truck, born in 1995, lost control of the vehicle while driving. As a result, the truck collided with four other vehicles traveling in the same direction.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the Cobalt, I.X., born in 1975, and the passenger, Z.T., born in 1986, died at the scene. The news shocked many — in an instant, two families were plunged into grief.
In addition, four other citizens in the other vehicles sustained injuries of varying severity and were taken to hospital. They are receiving qualified medical care.
At present, a criminal case has been opened in connection with this incident by the Investigation Department under the Tashkent Regional Department of Internal Affairs under Article 266, Part 3, paragraph “a” of the Criminal Code. It was reported that the truck driver was detained in procedural order. He was not injured.
In short, the road does not forgive. Behind a moment of inattention may lie irreversible consequences. Every decision behind the wheel is a matter of life.
