An incident involving a minor girl in the Ohangaron district of the Tashkent region has drawn significant public attention. It has been officially announced that this case has been taken under the control of Surayyo Rahmonova — the Children's Ombudsman.
Earlier, reports circulated on social media alleging that a PPX officer had committed illegal actions against a 14-year-old girl. It was stated that the officer put the girl and her friend in a car, took them to a remote area, and committed inappropriate actions against them.
Following this information, an internal service investigation was ordered by the internal affairs bodies. At the same time, the Ohangaron City Prosecutor's Office is conducting a pre-investigation inquiry into the situation. The Children's Ombudsman stated that she has taken the case under personal control to ensure the interests of the minor and noted that additional information will be provided later.
Shortly thereafter, the Ministry of Internal Affairs issued an official response regarding the situation. It was noted that the PPX officer has been suspended from duty, and if the situation is confirmed, strict legal measures will be taken against him.
However, the Tashkent Region Internal Affairs Department later issued another statement, emphasizing that the information spread on social media does not fully correspond to reality. According to official data, the incident occurred on the night of April 27. A 22-year-old woman, who was an acquaintance of the PPX officer, called him to ask for advice. When the officer arrived, the woman and her 14-year-old acquaintance sat in the car.
At that moment, an 18-year-old man arrived with several acquaintances, made insulting remarks to the officer, and a conflict broke out. The Internal Affairs Department emphasized that because a minor is involved in the case, all details will not be disclosed for now.
The department also stated that if the information spread on social media is found to be false upon completion of the investigation, legal measures will be taken against the individuals who disseminated it.
In short, there are various perspectives and conflicting information surrounding the situation. The results of the investigation are expected to clarify the true nature of the incident.
