A grave crime has been committed in the city of Shirin, Sirdaryo Region. According to Hayot Shamsutdinov, press secretary for the Prosecutor General's Office, a woman attacked her husband's legal wife and her minor children following a dispute fueled by jealousy.
The incident occurred on April 29 at approximately 5:00 p.m. in the city of Shirin. Initially, a dispute arose between a woman residing in the Amir Temur neighborhood and the man with whom she was in a common-law marriage, due to jealousy.
Following this, the woman took a kitchen knife from her mother's house and went to a residence located in the Farhod neighborhood. There, she inflicted severe stab wounds on her husband's legal wife and her two minor children.
As a result, the woman and her 5-year-old daughter died at the scene. A 3-year-old girl was hospitalized in critical condition.
The suspect fled the scene following the incident. She was later apprehended and taken into custody for investigation. It was also reported that an 8-year-old son and a 20-day-old infant remain in the victim's family.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Article 97, Part 2, clauses "a", "v", and "j" of the Criminal Code. Investigative actions are ongoing.
