Mbappe suffers injury 10 days before Barça final

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe was forced off due to injury during the second leg of the Champions League quarterfinal against Arsenal, euro-football.ru reported. The French striker fell to the ground in the 75th minute and couldn’t continue. He was replaced by Brahim Diaz. At that point, the score was 1–1 (4–1 in Arsenal’s favor on aggregate).

The severity of Mbappe’s injury is still unclear. What raises concern is that Real Madrid are set to play the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona in just 10 days.

Before the final, Real have two La Liga fixtures: against Athletic Bilbao on April 20 and Getafe on April 23. Mbappe failed to register any goals or assists in both legs against Arsenal. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
