Akmaljon Isroilov, who entered the ring in the -85 kg weight category, once again demonstrated the power of the Uzbek boxing school. In the final, he fought against Jakub Straszewski, who defended the honor of the hosts - Poland.
The fight was held at a high pace and with fierce battles. In the first round, our boxer put pressure on his opponent, and in the second round, he turned all the advantage in his favor. The opponent could not respond in any way, and in the second round, Akmaljon Isroilov won by technical knockout.
This result was the fifth gold medal won by the Uzbek national team in this tournament.
