
Tottenham Hotspur won the 2024/25 UEFA Europa League title, claiming their first European trophy since 1984, Zamin.uz reported.
In the final held at San Mamés Barria stadium in Bilbao, Spurs defeated Manchester United 1–0 thanks to a 42nd-minute goal by Brennan Johnson. The match was officiated by Felix Zwayer of Germany.
Tottenham last won a European title in 1984, beating Anderlecht in the UEFA Cup final on penalties (1–1, 1–1, 4–3).
With this historic win, Tottenham not only lifted the Europa League trophy but also secured a spot in the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League group stage. The team is coached by Angelos Postecoglou, who led them to this long-awaited triumph.
