Kylian Mbappe: “I saw true greatness”

On May 22, Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe paid tribute to Luka Modric, who is leaving the club, according to Euro-football.ru.

The 39-year-old Croatian’s contract will not be renewed, and he will depart at the end of the season. Modric has been with Real Madrid since 2012. His farewell will take place on May 24 during the La Liga match against Real Sociedad.

Mbappe wrote on social media:
“Brother, I was lucky to play with you and share the dressing room this season. I saw with my own eyes what true greatness is. You’re one of the best players in history, but more importantly, you’re an incredible person. Most of all, you’re someone who earned the respect and admiration of the whole world.
