Sports journalist Narzulla Saudullayev shared important information on his Telegram channel regarding this matter.

“None of the Uzbek footballers playing for Iranian clubs are currently in Iran. The Iranian league is in its off-season period and clubs are officially on break,” the journalist wrote.

Indeed, these players recently participated in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers as part of the national team, contributing to Uzbekistan’s progress to the next stage.

Experts believe that their absence from Iran is not a cause for concern, as it is related to the seasonal break. During this time, the players have the opportunity to recover, spend time with their families, and begin preparations for the next season.
