One of Uzbekistan’s most famous and leading boxers — super heavyweight Bahodir Jalolov — has officially announced the date of his next fight. This bout will take place on July 26 at one of the most famous arenas in the United States — Madison Square Garden in New York. The fight is being organized by the world-renowned promotion company Top Rank.
This time, Jalolov’s opponent will be an experienced Italian athlete — 36-year-old Gianmarco Cardillo. The bout will consist of 10 rounds and will serve as an important test for both boxers. Gianmarco Cardillo has held all his fights in Italy. He has entered the professional ring 15 times, won 12 bouts, recorded 2 draws, and lost only once.
Bahodir Jalolov, on the other hand, has so far entered the professional ring 15 times, knocking out 14 of his opponents. Only once did he win by points. His recent fights have been at a very high technical and physical level. In particular, his last fight was on April 5 in Astana, where he fought Ukrainian Igor Shevadzutskyi and won by unanimous decision.
