— This game was quite difficult for us. The “Bukhara” team played very well organized in defense, using the experience they gained in recent matches. Although right now they are in a position in the tournament table that doesn’t match their level, the coaching staff is directing them correctly. They tried their luck in counterattacks and fought for victory. It was not easy for us to break through their defensive wall. However, in the last parts of the match, we managed to score a goal, and I am pleased that we gained 3 important points, — said Levchenko.

— Some fans are upset that the victory was not celebrated. The players do not share their joy with the fans. What is the reason for this?

— It is not my task to give an exact answer to this question. Every fan has their own personal view and approach. In my opinion, a true fan should support their players and coaches whether the team wins or loses. This is my personal position. The team always needs the support of the fans. Therefore, I ask the fans to be patient and believe in us. We hope that more beautiful victories await us ahead. Being a supporter means being with the team both in good and bad days.

— There are opinions that the number of goals has decreased in recent games. What do you think is the main reason for this?

— High temperature, of course, affects the players. But it’s not only about the climate. For example, in the last game we had two one-on-one situations with the goalkeeper. If we had used those opportunities, the result would have been very different. And today, the opponent focused all their attention on defense and tried to deny us opportunities. In modern football, opponents thoroughly study and analyze each other. Therefore, the fact that not many chances are created is also a natural process. The coaching staff is developing individual tactics against each opponent, trying to maintain balance both in attack and defense. The important thing is — we won, and we are moving forward in the tournament.

In his words, the coach of “Neftchi” asked the fans for loyalty and trust, emphasizing the importance of support in every match. For the team to act even more actively and effectively in upcoming matches, all factors must be harmonized. Levchenko and his pupils intend to bring more victories to the fans in the matches ahead.
