The Uzbekistan women’s national team drew 3–3 in regulation time with the Nepal women’s national team. Since both teams had the same points and goal difference in the group, the group winner was determined by a penalty shootout.
In the penalty shootout, our players prevailed 4–2 and, with 9 points, secured the top position in the group and qualification for the Asian Championship after a 22-year absence.
