Gervonta Davis arrested on domestic violence charge
American boxer Gervonta Davis (30-0-1, 28 KOs), a world champion in the lightweight division, has been arrested in Florida.

He is facing criminal charges for committing domestic violence. The amount of bail will be determined later.

For reference, Gervonta was scheduled to hold a rematch fight against Lamont Roach on August 16 this year in Las Vegas.

As a reminder, in May 2023, a Baltimore court sentenced Davis to three years of probation, 90 days of house arrest, and 200 hours of community service for a traffic incident that occurred in November 2020.
