UFC Fighter Temirov in Mecca — Pilgrimage Instead of Fight

Famous Uzbek UFC fighter Ramazon Temirov is currently on a pilgrimage in the holy city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia. He shared photos and respectful words about the visit on his Instagram page.

"Alhamdulillah, once again Allah called me to His House," Temirov wrote under a photo featuring the Kaaba.

For your information: Temirov was scheduled to fight Kazakh fighter Asu Almabaev on July 26 at a UFC event in Abu Dhabi. However, he was removed from the match after a banned substance was found in his blood.

Following this, Ramazon temporarily stepped away from sports and headed to Mecca to perform religious rites. Many of his fans have supported this decision.

Temirov's pilgrimage is seen as an important step reflecting the harmony between sports and spirituality.
