One of the brightest players of the Portuguese national team — Joao Felix — may soon start playing in Saudi Arabia. The striker currently belongs to Chelsea, and serious negotiations are underway for his transfer to Al-Nassr.
According to well-known insider Fabrizio Romano, the two clubs have nearly reached an agreement on the terms of the transfer. The remaining details are expected to be finalized within the next 24–48 hours.
Interestingly, Benfica from Lisbon also competed for João Félix and was considered the main contender. However, they could not compete financially with the Saudi club Al-Nassr.
For reference, the 25-year-old Félix played for Chelsea last season and was loaned to AC Milan from February to May. Now he will try his luck at Al-Nassr, the same team Cristiano Ronaldo currently plays for.
If the deal goes through, the Saudi Pro League will welcome another star player. The football world eagerly awaits how João Félix and Ronaldo will perform together on the same team.
