Within the framework of the Uzbekistan Cup quarterfinal stage in the city of Tashkent, a tense and dramatic match awaited by the fans took place. "Bunyodkor" hosted the "Bukhara" team on its own field, and the struggle took place in a fully lively atmosphere.
Both teams started to act in an attacking style from the very first minutes. In the match held with great interest, the score was opened in the 6th minute by Azizbek Amonov for the guests. However, shortly after, in the 12th minute, Najmiddin Normurodov equalized the score for the hosts with a very beautiful strike and gifted the fans an impressive "super goal".
But "Bukhara" soon regained the initiative, and in the 37th minute, Toma Tabatadze scored the second goal for his team. His aggressive play drastically changed the direction of the match. At the beginning of the second half, "Bunyodkor" also managed to respond — in the 55th minute, Matija Krivokapic equalized the score again.
After that, the tension on the field kept increasing. In the 68th minute, Toma Tabatadze scored accurately from the penalty spot, completing a double and taking "Bukhara" ahead once more. In the final minutes of the clash, in the 87th minute, Frane Ikic scored a goal and brought the score to a large 4:2.
Thus, in a match full of struggles, "Bukhara" achieved a deserved victory and secured a ticket to the semifinals of the Uzbekistan Cup. This result can be considered one of the most important stages in the club's new history.
