The UEFA Champions League Player of the Week has been announced in the first round. This award went to Barcelona forward Marcus Rashford.

The 28-year-old English striker scored two goals and provided his team with crucial 3 points in the 2-1 victory against Newcastle.

Following Rashford are Juventus forward Dushan Vlahovic, Inter Milan striker Marcus Thuram, and Sporting CP's Francisco Trincán.
