On the night of Monday, October 6, Ukraine carried out airstrikes on a number of Russian territories and several strategic points in the annexed Crimea. Since evening, reports have circulated about the downing of drones over the Belgorod and Voronezh regions, as well as over Crimea. At the same time, air traffic was temporarily restricted at the airports of Tambov, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Kaluga, Krasnodar, Sochi, and Gelenzhik. Residents of the Stavropol Territory were warned about the danger of the drone, and Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported that a drone approaching the capital was destroyed.
It was reported that more than 10 explosions were heard over Dzerzhinsk and Nizhny Novgorod yesterday. The Russian Telegram channel Shot explains this by the fact that the air defense system is shooting down Ukrainian drones. Ukrainian sources also published videos depicting explosions in the region. The local administration has not yet made an official statement on this situation.
In the channels of Crimea, strikes on the side of Feodosia were mentioned - there are claims that a fire broke out at the city's oil depot. The "Crimean Wind" channel reported that a radar complex located in a military unit between Evpatoria and Uyutnoe was damaged as a result of the attack.
In the Bryansk region, sirens warning of missile danger were also activated towards evening. A number of local channels reported a fire at the thermal power plant in the city of Clini, a disruption in the supply of heat to some residential buildings, and a power outage in the nearby Starodub. Regional Governor Alexander Bogomaz did not specify the fire in his channel, but stated that a missile threat had been declared in the Klinsovsky and Unechsky districts, and the warning was soon lifted.
As a result of the evening raids, delays in flights were noted, and the airspace of some airports was temporarily closed. Although statements from various Telegram sources about the incidents have circulated, official comments on many episodes have not yet been released. Existing data is likely to be updated, as the attacks are said to have affected logistics, energy, and air traffic.
