
The former England goalkeeper Scott Carson has ended his football career. He announced this decision on his personal social network.
According to Euro-football.ru, Carson turned 40 in September. Scott Carson spent the last six years at Manchester City, mainly acting as the third-choice goalkeeper.
During this period, he played in the starting lineup only once. He was also called up to the England national team from 2007 to 2011.
Throughout his football career, Carson played for several English clubs such as Leeds, Charlton, and West Bromwich. Manchester City striker Erling Haaland also commented on the end of his career.
