Byshovets: Zakharian's move to Spain is a mistake

Former head coach of the Russian national team Anatoly Byshovets commented on Arsen Zakharian's two-year spell at Spain's "Real Sociedad" club. "Perhaps Zakharian's career in Spain did not turn out as expected because he went abroad too early.

His talent allowed for this, but his physical preparation was insufficient," Byshovets said in an interview with the "RB Sport" portal. It should be recalled that Zakharian joined the Basque club more than two years ago.

However, the young player missed almost the entire last season due to injuries and appeared on the field in only four matches. This season too, Zakharian has played in four matches but has not been able to score or provide an assist.
