The expected final of the Uzbekistan Cup took place at the Andijan city stadium. Pakhtakor, one of the country's most prestigious clubs, faced Bukhara, which has shown positive growth in recent seasons. The match was full of intense battles and dramatic moments.
"Pakhtakor" won the final thanks to their experience and game discipline. The fate of the match was decided by one goal. In the 63rd minute, the team's active midfielder, Hojimat Erkinov, accurately targeted the opponent's goal. His shot brought the Lions closer to victory and was remembered as the most crucial moment of the game.
After that, "Bukhara" increased pressure. In the 90+3rd minute, Yosip Tomashevich seemed to equalize, but the goal was not counted after the VAR system intervention. The score remained unchanged - 1:0.
This result was not only a victory for Pakhtakor, but also symbolic. The team's head coach, Kamoliddin Tojiyev, has opened a new chapter in the club's history - he has now become the first person to win the Uzbekistan Cup with Pakhtakor, both as a player and as head coach.
"Pakhtakor" entered the final, as usual, with an experienced squad: Vladimir Nazarov guarded the goal, while Hamraliyev, Alijonov, and Sobirkhojayev dominated the game in defense. In attack, Igor Sergeev and Flamarion posed a constant threat to the opponent's goal.
"Bukhara" made every effort - the team tried to organize the game in the center through Frane Chiryak and Azizbek Amonov. However, the "Lions'" disciplined defense and Nazarov's confident moves didn't give the visitors a chance.
Thus, this final in Andijan was filled not only with a championship atmosphere, but also with real struggle and passion. "Pakhtakor" won another cup in its history and had the opportunity to finish the season in high spirits.
