The III Asian Youth Games, taking place in the capital of Bahrain, Manama, became a true triumph for the Uzbekistan national team. Our athletes not only demonstrated their skills, but also once again raised the flag of the country high.
During the complex competition, young athletes from Uzbekistan won a total of 81 medals. Of these, 37 are gold, 16 are silver, and 28 are bronze. This result allowed the Uzbekistan national team to take second place in the team standings.
Among these victories, judo held a special place. Our athletes in this discipline, that is, our judokas, presented the team with the most medals. A total of 14 medals were won by 16 young judokas participating in this sport. Of these, 7 were gold, 4 were silver, and 3 were bronze.
This result became a source of inspiration not only for our athletes, but also for all the youth of Uzbekistan. The younger generation of the judo school has proven in practice that they can worthily participate in international competitions.
According to sports experts, this year's Asian Youth Games are being evaluated as a result of innovations in the sports system of our country and a scientific approach. In recent years, the sports school of Uzbekistan has paid great attention to improving the physical fitness, psychological stability, and international experience of young people.
The coaches of our national team also did not hide their pride in their students. According to them, young athletes were distinguished not only by medals, but also by team cohesion and willpower.
The tournament in Bahrain became an important experience not only for the results, but also for future Olympic hopefuls. Young athletes felt the atmosphere of international competitions, realized once again how to overcome the pressure of competition and that behind every action there is honor for the Motherland.
This result of the delegation of Uzbekistan confirmed that the sports of our country is rising to a new level. The results of the youth team became a vivid example of the will, work, and dedication of today's generation.
