Nasaf continued their AFC Champions League defeats
Uzbekistan's reigning champion, Qarshi's “Nasaf” team, recorded their fourth consecutive defeat in the elite stage of the AFC Champions League. In the 4th round match held on their home ground, the team lost 1:2 to the UAE's “Al-Wahda” club.

The home team opened the score in the first half thanks to a precise shot from Sardor Bahromov. However, in the second half, “Al-Wahda” footballers Favour Ogbu and Caio secured a hard-fought victory with their goals.

The decisive goal was scored in the 89th minute of the match. As a result, under the leadership of Ruzikul Berdiev, the team remains at the bottom of its group without collecting any points so far.

“Nasaf” will play its next match in the tournament on November 24 at home against Iran's “Tractorsazi” club. In this match, the team will have an opportunity to improve on its unsuccessful start.

As a reminder, “Nasaf” won the Asian Football Confederation Cup in 2011, a trophy considered one of the most important international achievements in the history of Uzbek football.
