Erling Haaland: My goal is to lead Norway to the World Cup and Euro Championship


Manchester City and Norway national team striker Erling Haaland spoke about his main goal. Haaland emphasized that he dreams not only of achieving success at club level but also of attaining a historic result with his national team.

"I have talked about this for a long time – my main goal is to take Norway to the World Cup and the European Championship. This is the most important task of my career.

Currently, there are good opportunities to achieve this and it depends on how we use these opportunities," the player said in an interview with BBC. At present, the Norway national team has collected 18 points in its group in the 2026 World Cup qualifying round and is leading the group.
