Slavia midfielder Lukáš Provod shared his thoughts after a 0:3 defeat against Arsenal in the Champions League. "We knew the game would be very difficult, but the start wasn’t bad.
We defended well, but after Arsenal’s first goal it became easier for them. In the second half, we wanted to play more offensively and aggressively, but of course, Arsenal is a very strong team.
They show their high level every week, every match. But I think we gave everything we had.
I’m proud of my team because, for many, this was their first Champions League game. It was a useful experience for them," Provod told UEFA's press service.
