
The London-based Arsenal football club is planning to bring Napoli's chief scout, Maurizio Micheli, into their team. This was reported by Football Italia.
The Premier League club intends to offer Micheli a leadership position in their recruitment department, and the negotiations have reportedly reached an advanced stage. The 57-year-old Italian specialist is recognized for discovering talents like Marek Hamsik, Kim Min-jae, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Previously, Micheli worked as a scout for Udinese and as a sporting director at Brescia. He first joined Napoli's scouting team in 2010.
After spending five years at Napoli, he tried new challenges with Verona and Bologna before returning to the Neapolitans in 2018. This is not the first report regarding Micheli's potential departure from Napoli.
