Switzerland Secures World Cup Qualification

Swiss national team forward Breel Embolo and head coach Murat Yakin shared their thoughts following the final match of the World Cup qualification round, which ended in a 1-1 draw against Kosovo. "I have been playing for the national team for 10 years.

Every year, we are getting stronger. This doesn't surprise me because I know how high the quality of our play is.

We clearly understand what results to expect from ourselves. Through this qualification, we have set ourselves big goals," Breel Embolo said in an interview with Blick.

Swiss head coach Murat Yakin, however, refrained from commenting on whom they would prefer to face in the group stage: "The most important thing is that no one should want to see us in their group. I think this is something for our opponents to think about, not us."
