Israeli midfielder Ofri Arad, who plays for Kazakhstan's famous team "Kairat," may have a dramatic change in position next season. As Narzulla Saydullayev reported on his Telegram channel, two professional clubs of Uzbekistan have shown serious interest in the footballer.
The 27-year-old Arad's current contract with Kairat expires at the end of the season. This makes him a free agent in the transfer market and further increases the competition for his services.
This season, Arad was also quite active in terms of statistics:
- 36 games,
- 1 goal,
- 4 assists.
Most impressively, the midfielder's only goal of the season was scored against Inter Milan in a Champions League qualifier. This once again confirms that he is a fearless, responsible, and tactically mature player even in big games.
It's no coincidence that Uzbek clubs are covertly watching him - Arad is of great importance as a versatile midfielder who holds the ball firmly in the center, manages the game, and knows how to resist opponent pressing well.
If the negotiations proceed positively, his arrival in the Uzbekistan Super League will undoubtedly bring new dynamics, new experience, and a new level of game quality to the championship.
