The head coach of RB Leipzig, Ole Werner, emphasized that set pieces could play a significant role in the upcoming Bundesliga match against Borussia Mönchengladbach. This 12th-round match is scheduled to take place on November 28 at 10:30 PM Moscow time.
"They are very dangerous in ball possession and also pose a threat during set pieces. Their structure in ball control is well-organized, they aim to find open spaces and then accelerate the game," the coach said in an interview with Soccer News.
"They are very strong in counterattacks and have a clear and smart plan to achieve success. Set pieces will be crucial for both sides."
RB Leipzig is currently in second place in the league standings with 25 points, trailing the first-place Bayern Munich by six points. Mönchengladbach, on the other hand, is in 12th place with 12 points.
