According to journalist David Ornstein, the Manchester club does not plan to enter negotiations with the Brazilian player. Representatives of the "Wolves" have also denied any ongoing talks concerning the player.

As reported by Transfermarkt, Joao Gomes has a transfer value of 40 million euros. This season, the midfielder has appeared in 15 matches for Wolverhampton and has provided one assist.
