Former head coach of "Serik Belediyespor," Sergey Yuran, revealed that his team was one of the lowest-budget clubs in Turkey's First League. According to the coach, the club had no financial means to strengthen its roster.
"To be honest, we had no budget at all. We couldn't buy anyone.
Salaries were also among the lowest in the league," Yuran said in an interview with "Sport-Express." The only club in a worse situation than "Serik" was "Adana Demirspor," where only young players played.
It should be noted that Yuran joined "Serik" in the summer of 2025 and worked there for several months. Later, the club fell into debt over unpaid wages, players began boycotting training, and the contract with the Russian coach was terminated.
