
Union Berlin disappointed their fans on Saturday in a home match in the Bundesliga. In the game against Heidenheim, "Union" was the first to take the lead – Rani Khedira scored just before halftime.
The score of 1-0 remained unchanged until the 90th minute, but in the final moments, the visitors managed to turn the game around. Goals from Stefan Schimmer and Jan Schöppner secured a 2-1 victory for Heidenheim.
This result lifted Heidenheim from the bottom of the Bundesliga standings to 15th place, with 8 points to their name. Union Berlin currently holds 10th place with 15 points.
