Former Liverpool footballer Jamie Carragher shared his thoughts on Sunday’s match between Chelsea and Arsenal. The clash between London’s two top clubs ended in a 1-1 draw.
Chelsea was reduced to 10 players in the 38th minute following a red card shown to Moisés Caicedo, but this did not prevent Trevoh Chalobah from opening the scoring in the 48th minute. The visitors equalized in the 59th minute with a goal from Mikel Merino.
"I think instead of criticizing Arsenal for not showing a particularly confident game, we should commend Chelsea. The team put on an impressive performance with just ten players," said the Sky Sports pundit at the end of the game.
Chelsea is currently third in the Premier League standings with 24 points, while Arsenal leads the table with 30 points.
