The Catalans have been linked for a long time with experienced forwards such as Harry Kane and Julián Álvarez. According to Transfer News Live, citing the Spanish outlet Sport, Barcelona's decision will depend on activating Kane's €65 million buyout clause in his Bayern Munich contract.
In order to activate this clause, Kane would need to notify the club of his intention to leave. If the 32-year-old forward does not make this decision, Barcelona will focus its attention on the 25-year-old Álvarez.
