Dzeko Could Face Penalty for Addressing Fans


Fiorentina suffered another defeat in their latest match, this time losing 0-2 to Atalanta. Bosnian striker Edin Džeko decided to showcase his leadership qualities by approaching the supporters in the stadium alongside his teammates.

He took a megaphone and called on fans to support the team despite the challenging circumstances. However, this action violated Serie A's rules prohibiting players from directly addressing fans during matches.

Džeko’s breach of the rules is now under review by Serie A’s Disciplinary Committee. He could potentially face a one-match suspension and a €20,000 fine.
