Arteta: Raya Has Taken Arsenal to the Next Level

London-based club Arsenal's head coach Mikel Arteta highly praised goalkeeper David Raya. The Spanish keeper joined the "Gunners" from Brentford in the summer of 2023.

"David is an amazing goalkeeper. We wanted to bring him into the team right after I was appointed as head coach, but this was delayed by several years.

Raya is showing excellent performances at Arsenal, and I’m very happy to have him with us. Whether this is the best transfer or not is hard to say, but he has taken our team to a new level.

Undoubtedly, he has brought a fresh breath of air to our game,” Arteta said on Wednesday ahead of the match against Brentford. This season, David Raya has conceded only eight goals in 18 matches.
