Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola assessed the strength of their upcoming opponent Sunderland, ahead of the next round of the English Premier League. On Friday, after defeating Fulham with a score of 5-4, Guardiola shared his thoughts prior to the clash with the "Black Cats."

Oh my God! I understood why they are so high up in the standings this season.

They are really playing incredible football. They are showing football of a very high level," Guardiola told "The Touchline" during an interview.

Today, Sunderland is set to play an away match at Liverpool's stadium. The team, under the direction of Régis Le Bris, is currently ranked sixth in the EPL standings.
