Flik: Garcia Could Soon Become Barcelona Captain


Barcelona's head coach Hans-Dieter Flick shared his thoughts on the contract extension with defender Eric García. The "Blaugrana" officially announced the new agreement with the player on Friday.

"I am very happy. He is a very important player for us.

Eric knows the club well and fully earned his contract extension. He has proven that his love for this club is unmatched.

Soon, we may see him as Barcelona's captain. Why not?

He is a fantastic footballer," Flick stated during a press conference. Currently, Hans-Dieter Flick is preparing Barcelona for an away match in La Liga against Betis.
