Liverpool forward Alexander Isak commented on his performance this season. The Swedish footballer joined the Reds from Newcastle United at the beginning of September.
The transfer process was prolonged, as the Magpies were reluctant to let go of their forward. However, Isak demanded the deal, even refusing to train with his former team.
“Of course, everything is not going smoothly – not just on an individual level, but also as a team. We haven’t been able to deliver the required results recently.
I expect more from myself, but I do not lose my positive mindset. I hope to show my potential much better.
This is my constant goal: to demand more of myself, even when everything seems fine. It’s not a problem for me.
I am my own harshest critic and do not wait for others to point out my issues,” Isak said in an interview with *Sky Sports*. He has scored two goals in 12 matches for Liverpool.
It should be noted that Liverpool spent €145 million on this transfer. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
