Ekitiqe Becomes First French Player to Score Two Goals Since 2006

The 15th round of the English Premier League is underway. Liverpool visited Leeds following a series of setbacks, and things are currently looking much better for the team.

The team scored twice during the match, with both goals netted by Hugo Ekitike. With this performance, Ekitike has become the first French player in 20 years to score twice in a Premier League match for Liverpool.

Previously, this feat was achieved by Djibril Cissé in April 2006, during a match against West Ham. It is worth noting that Liverpool is the reigning English champion; however, before the start of the 15th round, the team was in 11th place in the Premier League standings.
