Why Meñyán Decided Not to Extend Contract with AC Milan


The renowned Italian journalist Nicolo Schira has shared his thoughts on why Mike Maignan, the goalkeeper for AC Milan, is unwilling to sign a new contract with the club. According to Schira, certain individuals within the club's management are unlikable to Maignan.

«Maignan is a key player and an important footballer for Allegri. The issue lies in the fact that five million euros may not be sufficient for him.

Maignan aims to receive a salary between six and seven million euros. Additionally, he is firmly against negotiating with Furlani and Moncada,» Schira stated in an interview with pianetamilan.it.

It is worth noting that Mike Maignan has been playing for AC Milan since 2021.
