Pochettino: The US national team will be competitive

The head coach of the U.S. national team, Mauricio Pochettino, shared his thoughts ahead of next summer's World Cup.

“It will be amazing. This is an opportunity for the United States to showcase football at the highest level. We are pleased to build a competitive and winning team,” the coach said in an interview with the BBC.

The U.S. national team will face Paraguay and Australia in the group stage. Additionally, their opponent will include a team that qualifies through the European play-offs (Turkey, Romania, Slovakia, or Kosovo).

The World Cup will take place from June 11 to July 19 in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
