Christian Pulisic responds to criticism directed at him

AC Milan and USMNT forward Christian Pulisic has responded sharply to recent criticism regarding his form. The player labeled questions about his goal drought ahead of the 2026 World Cup as "bad questions." According to Goal.com reports.

Pulisic, who appeared on the cover of Time magazine, emphasized his high level of self-confidence despite not scoring for club and country this year. Responding to critics, he stated: "I plan on scoring. These are very bad questions. I'm not worried about it at all."

The forward recalled that throughout his career, he has always silenced critics with his performance on the pitch. He added that scoring goals and creating attacking plays are the most enjoyable parts of football for him, noting that these aspects bring him joy beyond defending and running.

The USMNT will begin their World Cup campaign on home soil with a match against Paraguay on June 12. Although Pulisic refrained from making promises about the tournament results, he expressed that he has not lost faith in lifting the World Cup trophy, which has been his childhood dream.
