Mendilibar: We Did Not Have Time to Study Kairat


The head coach of Greece's "Olympiacos" football club, Jose Luis Mendilibar, participated in a press conference ahead of their UEFA Champions League match against Kazakhstan’s "Kairat" team. The sixth round match of the group stage will take place on December 9, starting at 6:30 PM Moscow time.

"We didn't have much time to study 'Kairat' in detail. They consistently play quality, open football, being active in attack and striving to play correctly in defense.

I believe no team has a clear advantage," Mendilibar told sportarena.kz. In the tournament standings, "Kairat" is ranked 35th with 1 point.

"Olympiacos," on the other hand, is positioned 33rd with 2 points.
