Experienced coach Sergey Tashuyev, who has managed several clubs in the Russian Premier League, could potentially become the new head coach of the Belarus national football team. The 66-year-old coach's candidacy is being reviewed by the Belarus Football Federation.
It is known that the previous head coach, Spanish expert Carlos Alos, left his position. Additionally, Tashuyev has also been in negotiations with the Russian club "Yenisey," whose current coach, Andrey Tikhonov, may face dismissal.
Moreover, Tashuyev has reportedly been in talks with another unidentified club from the PARI League. The coach's most recent position was with Grozny's "Akhmat" club, which he left in May 2023.
