Courtois Comments Following Defeat

Real Madrid suffered a 0–2 defeat against Celta Vigo during the 16th round of La Liga at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium. Both goals were scored by Celta player Williot Swedberg.

"I am deeply disappointed by the events. We need to pull ourselves together.

This is not the time to complain; instead, we must draw the right conclusions," goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois wrote on his social media following the match. The Belgian shot-stopper successfully saved three out of five shots on target aimed at Real Madrid's goal.

In the 64th minute, Real Madrid's Fran García was sent off, leaving the team one player short. Additionally, Álvaro Carreras received a red card in the 92nd minute and left the field.
